• Camera Settings and Operation: Learn how to operate a camera for video production.
• Gimbal Handling and Stabilization: Master the use of gimbals for smooth camera movements.
• Audio Editing: Learn how to edit audio tracks and match them with video cuts.
• Different Types of Cuts: Explore various types of cuts used in video editing, including
• Sequence Settings: Understand how to set up sequence settings for optimal editing workflow.
• Audio Levels EQ and Audio Fades: Master audio editing techniques including adjusting levels, applying EQ, and creating smooth fades.
• White Balancing: Understand the importance of white balancing for achieving accurate colors in your footage.
• Color Correction and Color Grading: Learn the art of color correction and color grading to enhance the visual aesthetics of your videos.
• Introduction to Editing Music Videos/Short Films: Exploring different styles and concepts for music videos. Syncing video clips with music beats, dialogue and lyrics. Incorporating visual effects and creative transitions.
• LUTs Apply: Discover how to apply LUTs (Look-Up Tables) to quickly achieve specific color grading styles.
• Choosing Fonts: Learn the principles of typography and how to choose appropriate fonts for your video projects.
• Intro Titles: Create captivating intro titles to engage your audience from the start of your videos.
• Masking: Master the art of masking to selectively apply effects or adjustments to specific areas of your footage.

Requirements:

• Device: Students are required to bring a laptop, or iPad, tablet to the Class. This device will be used for hands-on editing exercises and accessing course materials.
• Software Installation: Our team will assist students in installing the necessary editing software on their devices. Whether you use Windows or Apple operating systems, we’ll ensure you have everything you need to start editing.
• Mobile Device: Additionally, students are required to bring an iPad, tablet, or mobile phone to log in to our website and access course materials. This device will be used to start the course digitally while in the studio.
• Camera and Gimbal (Optional): If you have a camera and gimbal available, feel free to bring them along for additional hands-on practice and learning opportunities.

Course Duration : 10 – Day Course, Daily 5 hour sessions

Digital Exam:

Upon completion of the course, students will be required to take a digital exam on the R FILMMAKERS website. This exam will test their understanding of the course material, and students must pass the exam to receive certification.

Access to Digital Assets:

Students will have access to their own user ID on the R FILMMAKERS website, where they can register and start the course digitally while sitting in the studio. They can download digital assets such as presets and LUTs tailored to their specific camera settings and model.
